On a glorious sunny afternoon today we opened our bowling green.
Our youngest member 17yr old Amy Campbell bowled the first wood, and afterwards was presented with a memento of the occasion by our President Bill Dixon.
31 members, including 2 new members, then played 10 ends amid much laughter while doing their best to combat the gentle breeze !
Several spectators were sitting outside the clubhouse, enjoying the sunshine and the chance to chat.
Let’s hope we see more days of sunshine like this during the season- hopefully without the ‘breeze’.

Free events aim to get new members at North Cornwall club
Bude Bowls Club undertook a publicity and recruitment campaign at Morrisons Supermarket today which resulted in good interest with many planning to join us at our Come and Try sessions.
